Fort Armistead in Baltimore is where a friend and I went to explore and take photographs.

I really love the idea about "one shot" - hand.. as the focus.
My friend.. who has really awesome and vainy hands was the perfect subject. This was one shot and one shot only.. and so it did not come out the way my eye saw the image originally, but it was pretty damn close. I know what the problem was.. I forgot to set my white balance. It was still set for direct sunlight. My mistake. Perhaps that's why it has such an orange tone to it. oh well, it's only One Shot.

Assignment #3 - Composition Cont.. "Ongoing"

Leading lines. Framing. Rule of thirds perhaps.
I took a similar photo like this thats on my website. I revisited the area this weekend on a bike ride. Looks the same pretty much. I really like it.

Rule of thirds.. wide shot.
Memorial Day, my friend Trevor and I took photos of a wedding. A very small wedding indeed. I just got around to editing the last bits and pieces and thought this photo made for a cool shot aesthetically.

Composition - Assignment #3

I know I cut off the head and that's a big no no.. but it was an action shot. Baby Maddy does not sit still.. she loves the camera though.
I'm using the rule of thirds. I think the composition is pretty good except for the horizon line.. that's off a bit much.
